Self Assessment of ESP Learning

Writing skills: writing summaries wasn't one of the most lovely task for me :) maybe it is because of lack of knowledges how to do that correctly.And it needs a lot of practice and enough time to understand each article.But after several writing tasks it looked that everything is going well.When talking about tests it was really hard for me.Because they are frequent and it is not easy to learn more and more new specific words of psychology science.On the other hand it will help us in the future in our works.Self designed tests was very great task!Firstly because it not only helps us to learn the main things of the topic,but also give interesting time while creating them with friend.I like this writing task :).Dictations helps not only for writing but also for listening practice as well.It is way dictations were very useful.Finally contributions to web logs was new task.It give us ability not only to improve our writing but also to design and put a picture near..It is great :)

Speaking skills: we spend a lot of time by practicing speaking.At first it was quite strange for me.How we could talk for half an our..?But i understand that chatting with class friends or discussions in pairs give us a chance to make our dictionary larger,to improve our speaking skills and to know new words in interesting way.Of course now i can say that my speaking skills are really better and that my language is more fluently.

Listening skills: Listening is great! It give us chance to know what it is true English language. Because sometimes it looks that we know a lot of different words and expressions,that we know how discus and write..and it is enough..but no! When i felt that i can't understand words that i really know but i am listening i understood that listening tasks is the best way how to improve listening skills.We didn't make these task frequently,but tasks were really interesting.When it is not boring to listen (listen activities in class)you can understand more!It really works!At home sometimes it is more difficult to listen without breaks,but it also helps for me!

Reading skills: Home reading is the mane task of what i was doing at home for a long time.Yes,we need a lot of time for all these topics,but they give us new knowledges of science of psychology as well as gives reading skills.Sometimes it looks: oh how difficult to find time for such a longs topics,but they are really very useful and interesting to read.Class reading tasks were also related with our profession so it was not boring to read.Then you can discuss with your partner and the value is much bigger. finally about computer tasks: they were one of the most interesting.For example reading news in BBC was great..!News are from all around the world,articles are well written also related with videos or pictures.Impressive!because all tasks which is interesting give for me more and more benefits!!
